List Building For Beginners Review Part1

Hello, I’ve recently uploaded several free eBooks to the front page of my site SEO Software and Tips. Over the next few weeks I will be doing an eBook review of each one. Note: I also plan to review some of the top SEO software and SEO information products too.

Free eBook: List Building For Beginners - Let’s face it, not all books are perfectly awesome from start to finish but I did glean several tidbits from this read.

* Email marketing is still one of the most effective Internet Marketing methods used today.
* Make sure your opt-in forms are simple and easy to use so your visitors don’t become annoyed during the opt-in process.
* Setup a promotion or freebie or a membership site related to a specific niche.
* If you submit articles to Ezines, not only leave your links but also leave your email address as interested readers may want to contact you. You will now have their name and email address.
* Partner-up (Joint Venture) with folks in the same niche as yourself.
* Make sure your website is useful and very easy to use. Make sure you have well-written articles and descriptions about your site. Try to make your site look very nice but not overly complicated. In order to make sure your site loads fast, keep the graphics simple and optimized.
* Never lose the trust of your customers. A good reputation will bring you more traffic and subscribers as well as strenthen the loyalty of your customers.
* Just launching your own opt-in list, does not make you an expert and a believable seller. Post many articles and build trust first prior to starting your opt-in list.
* Join forums related to your niche, and find out what people specificly need and want related to your niche. Try to provide expert advice and provide a link to your site in the signature. Over time if you’re providing good information and recommendations they will visit your site and opt-in.
* Find a product or service within your niche that people want and need. Research (purchase) and learn everything there is to know about this product or service. Now provide great information to your subscribers and many will want purchase the product or service through your site.

Please stay tuned for Part 2.

Again, I have several free eBooks you may be interested in, available on the front page of my site. Here is the link: SEO Software and Internet Marketing

I just created a quick video on social bookmarking and thought you might find it interesting. It just shows one simple example of setting up a bookmarklet link in your browser allowing you to easily bookmark webpages you like to this one service. Many of the other bookmarking services work similar to this example.

To see the video click here: Bookmarking with Faves

Well truthfully, I don’t know if this is going to be the next greatest thing since sliced bread or a complete failure. But just in case this thing goes big, I’ve signed up and I’m ready to give it a try.

I would suggest that you do the same just in case this PPP launch does take off.
